COMMUNITY
At Cheeseburger in Paradise, we are dedicated to giving back to the communities that we serve. We want the paradise experience of warmth and caring to extend beyond our restaurant walls and into every community where we live.

Our goal is to partner with community and charitable organizations that promote values similar to our own - Hospitality, Quality, Appreciation, Simplicity, Courage and Fun. Investing in our communities is one of the best investments we can make and one with an impact that will last for generations.
Cheeseburger in Paradise restaurants serve their community through a variety of local efforts, such as fundraising events and sponsoring a range of charity and school events.
Cheeseburger in Paradise would like to thank and honor those who served honorably in the military – in wartime or peacetime.
In fact, we would like to acknowledge veterans for their service by offering a free meal* on the federally observed Veteran’s Day, Monday November 12, 2012.
In order to receive their free meal, military personnel must present one of the following:
- U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card
- U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card
- Current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES)
- Veterans Organization Card (i.e., American Legion and VFW, Photograph in Uniform or Wearing Uniform)
*Dine-in from select menu items only; beverages and gratuity not included.

One big way that Cheeseburger in Paradise gives back is through a national partnership with the Wounded Warriors Foundation.
In 2011 on Veteran's Day at Cheeseburger in Paradise, military personnel were honored with a free meal of their choice. In addition, for every cheeseburger sold from November 12th-13th Cheeseburger in Paradise donated $1 to the Wounded Warriors Project.
Thanks to everyone that participated, Cheeseburger in Paradise has provided just over $12,500 to the Wounded Warrior Foundation; whose goal is to foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation's history. The donations made were used to help enable thousances of injured warriors returning home from the cirrent conflicts and to provide assistance to their families.
Another way that Cheeseburger in Paradise gives back is through a national partnership with the Vh1 Save the Music Foundation.
Music is the foundation behind our restaurant—from Jimmy Buffett’s soothing lyrics to the doses of paradise our island-inspired music provides. Cheeseburger in Paradise is pleased to share the same source of inspiration with students through our work with VH1 Save The Music.
Thanks to our guests, communities and employees, Cheeseburger in Paradise has provided almost $40,000 to help keep music education alive in public schools and provide musical instruments. Our contributions to Vh1 Save the Music provided musical instruments to two Jersey City Schools – Academy I and MS 41 – Fred W. Martin School.
To bring the spirit of music alive even more in our communities, Cheeseburger in Paradise has hosted local fundraising events to support the VH1 Save The Music Foundation and raise funds for local school music programs.
